Conference Schedule: The conference will be held from Thursday December 13 until Wednesday  December 19. As most international flights to Chile arrive in Santiago during the morning, participants should plan on a December 12 arrival to  Santiago and from there connect to a domestic flight to Puerto Montt. A welcoming dinner will be held Wednesday 12th evening, with talks beginning on Thursday morning. The conference will stop Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Formal sessions will resume  on Monday. A closing session will be held Wednesday afternoon December 19.

Participants: To see list of participants, either confirmed  or willing to attend, click here.

Registration: An on-line registration form is provided for the convenience of the participants.

Lodging: We expect that most participants will stay in the same  hotel where the conference will be held, in the western shore of lake Llanquihue between Llanquihue  and Frutillar. In the event that we are not able to provide accommodation  for some participants at that place, we will allocate them in  nearby facilities (walking distance) and also provide transportation to these locations.

Financial support: At this moment, we are  able to provide  financial support, room and board during the conference (from Wednesday 12th through Thursday 20th), just for invited participants. Travel expenses should be covered by the participants.

Conference fee: A conference fee of US$100 (US$50 for graduates students) for non supported participants should be paid upon arrival. Also the room rate is about US$ 60 per night. The number of rooms is limited, so it is important to register early. Please contact the local organizers if you need any assistance.

Proceedings: It is intended to publish proceedings of the conference.

Getting to the conference location: Upon arrival to Puerto Montt’s airport  participants will travel by ground  to the conference place (about 30 Km.) The local organization will provide this transportation, thus it is important that you let’s know your flight schedule in order to arrange your pick up.
