The focus of the conference will be the arithmetic aspects of quadratic forms, although related areas are also welcome.

The
conference will be held at Centro Vacacional Lago Ranco, located in the
lake region in the near south of Chile. Wednesday 15th afternoon the
participants will travel to Pucon to join the AMS - Chilean Mathematical
Society meeting (transportation by bus will be
provided).

Conference Schedule
The conference opens Monday morning December 13 and closes Tuesday evening December 14. Participants should plan to arrive at Valdivia Airport on Sunday December 12 and allow some time to rest. Transportation from Valdivia Airport to Lake Ranco will be provided. A welcoming dinner will be held on Sunday evening, with talks beginning on Monday morning. On Wednesday 15, participants will travel by bus to Pucón where the first joint AMS- Chilean Mathematical Society meeting will take place. Pucón is about 200 kilometers away from Lake Ranco.
Returning to Santiago: Please note that for the returning flight to Santiago, the closest airport from Pucon is Temuco airport. If you book a round trip Santiago-Valdivia-Santiago (via LAN, the only airline that stops in Valdivia) you will have to travel back to Valdivia from Pucon (easy to get a bus ride about 200 Kms.) Otherwise one can schedule a Santiago-Valdivia flight and a Temuco-Santiago flight.

Financial support: At this moment, we are able to cover the accomodation from December 12 to December 15 at Lake Ranco. Transportation from Valdivia airport and to Pucón is also included. This support is only for invited participants.
Getting to Valdivia: There are several daily flights from Santiago International Airport to Valdivia.
